The Commissioner of Transportation, or the commissioner's designee, shall attend a public hearing concerning the safety and condition of a railroad crossing at grade, upon receipt by the commissioner of a petition that requests the commissioner to attend such hearing and is signed by twenty-five or more electors of the municipality in which such crossing is located.(P.A. 11-256, S. 16.)History: P.A. 11-256 effective July 13, 2011.
