The commissioner may suspend, revoke or refuse to renew any instructor's license or master instructor's license if: (1) The licensee has made a material false statement or concealed a material fact in connection with the licensee's application for the license or any renewal thereof; (2) the licensee has failed to comply with any of the provisions of this part or any of the regulations adopted by the commissioner, in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54, pursuant to this part; or (3) the licensee has been guilty of fraud or fraudulent practices in relation to securing for the licensee or another person a license to drive a motor vehicle.(1957, P.A. 507, S. 7; P.A. 10-110, S. 40; P.A. 22-44, S. 6.)History: P.A. 10-110 authorized commissioner to revoke license, deleted provision re regulations establishing instructional standards of procedure, added provisions re regulations adopted in accordance with chapter 54, and redesignated Subdivs. (a), (b) and (c) as Subdivs. (1), (2) and (3), effective June 5, 2010; P.A. 22-44 added 'or master instructor's license' and made technical changes, effective July 1, 2022.
