§ 14-295a

An assessment of five dollars shall be imposed against any person who is convicted of a violation of section 14-219, 14-222, 14-227a or 14-227m or subdivision (1) or (2) of subsection (a) of section 14-227n or who pleads nolo contendere to a violation of section 14-219 and pays the fine by mail. Such assessment shall be in addition to any fee, cost or surcharge imposed pursuant to any other provision of the general statutes.
