The Office of the State Traffic Administration and each municipal traffic authority shall, on highways under their respective jurisdictions and subject to the provisions of section 14-298, provide special pedestrian street or sidewalk markings at intersections and streets in proximity to projects designated for or containing a high proportion of elderly persons.(1967, P.A. 358; P.A. 12-132, S. 31.)History: P.A. 12-132 replaced 'State Traffic Commission' with 'Office of the State Traffic Administration', effective July 1, 2012.
