The Office of the State Traffic Administration, on any state highway, or a local traffic authority, on any highway under its control, may, within available appropriations, designate locations at which signs bearing the words 'STATE LAW REQUIRES USE OF SIGNAL LIGHTS WHEN CHANGING LANES' may be erected.(P.A. 99-181, S. 23; P.A. 12-132, S. 42.)History: P.A. 12-132 replaced 'State Traffic Commission' with 'Office of the State Traffic Administration', effective July 1, 2012.
