§ 14-344a

After July 1, 1979, no producer or refiner of petroleum products shall open a major brand, secondary brand or unbranded retail service station in the state and operate such station with employees of such producer or refiner, a subsidiary company, commissioned agent or under a contract with any person, firm or corporation managing such station on a fee arrangement with such producer or refiner. Any such station shall be operated only by a retail service station dealer. As used in this chapter, 'retail service station' means a place of business where gasoline or special fuel is sold and delivered into the tanks of motor vehicles for use as fuel in the operation of such motor vehicles.(P.A. 79-437, S. 1, 5.)
