Every statement made in an application, notice or report required by this part shall be upon oath or affirmation. Any person who knowingly makes a material false statement, in addition to such other penalty as may be imposed by law, shall be subject to the cancellation of his certificate of number or certificate of registration and registration number.(1961, P.A. 506, S. 19; P.A. 81-423, S. 12, 25.)History: P.A. 81-423 inserted reference to certificate of registration and replaced 'identification' number with 'registration' number.
