§ 16-19ee

Each electric distribution company shall, in its monthly report to the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority required pursuant to section 16-16, provide information concerning the primary cause of all planned and unplanned electrical outages affecting two hundred fifty or more customers in the preceding month that is the subject of such report and shall indicate which outages resulted from a power surge.(P.A. 90-39, S. 1; P.A. 98-28, S. 94, 117; P.A. 11-80, S. 1; P.A. 14-134, S. 59; P.A. 23-102, S. 13.)History: P.A. 98-28 added electric distribution companies and made a technical change, effective July 1, 1998; pursuant to P.A. 11-80, 'Department of Public Utility Control' was changed editorially by the Revisors to 'Public Utilities Regulatory Authority', effective July 1, 2011; P.A. 14-134 deleted reference to electric company and deleted 'with more than seventy-five thousand customers', effective June 6, 2014; P.A. 23-102 substantially revised section, adding reference to monthly report re primary cause of accidents and provision re 250 or more customers.
