§ 16.48

Connecticut Title 16 — Connecticut law

The Public Utilities Regulatory Authority is authorized to enter into compacts in the name of the state of Connecticut with the states of New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, or any one or more of said states, through such body in such state or states as may be designated by law to act, for the purpose of establishing joint regulation and control of rates for electricity and gas transmitted between such states; provided the power to enter into such compacts shall be authorized by the Congress of the United States.
