§ 16-9a

In a proceeding before the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority, the authority shall give special consideration to a request for party status from a person whose interests are not otherwise adequately represented by another party to the proceeding and shall not unreasonably deny such request.(P.A. 96-247, S. 2; P.A. 11-80, S. 1.)History: Pursuant to P.A. 11-80, 'Department of Public Utility Control' and 'department' were changed editorially by the Revisors to 'Public Utilities Regulatory Authority' and 'authority', respectively, effective July 1, 2011.
