In any proceeding to amend rates under section 16-19 for customers of an electric distribution company that has a service area of eighteen or more cities and towns, that is initiated on or after July 1, 2023, or in a pending proceeding to amend rates under section 16-19 for customers of an electric distribution company that has a service area of eighteen or more cities and towns, for which a final decision has not been issued prior to July 1, 2023, the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority shall not reauthorize the on-bill reconciling mechanism for new electric plant additions that was first authorized in 2018.(P.A. 23-102, S. 5.)History: P.A. 23-102 effective June 29, 2023.
