On or before July 1, 1993, the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority shall submit in writing to the Federal Communications Commission a request that each Connecticut community located in a broadcast television station market outside of Connecticut be included as an additional community within a Connecticut broadcast television station market, in accordance with the Cable Television Consumer Protection and Competition Act of 1992, P.L. 102-385.(P.A. 93-53, S. 2, 3; P.A. 11-80, S. 1.)History: P.A. 93-53, S. 2 effective May 12, 1993; pursuant to P.A. 11-80, 'Department of Public Utility Control' was changed editorially by the Revisors to 'Public Utilities Regulatory Authority', effective July 1, 2011.
