The Commissioner of Children and Families shall apply, within a reasonable time, for accreditation of the Department of Children and Families by the Council on Accreditation. The commissioner shall comply with all procedural and administrative requirements of said council and after obtaining accreditation shall apply for renewal when such renewal is due.(P.A. 05-246, S. 16.)History: P.A. 05-246 effective July 1, 2005.
