§ 17a-106i

Any employee of the Department of Children and Families or a children's advocacy center, as defined in section 17a-106a, to whom a personal injury resulting from any conduct described in subdivision (5) of subsection (a) of section 54-209, is disclosed by the (1) person who suffered such injury, or (2) parent, guardian or legal representative of such person, shall provide such person, or such person's parent, guardian or legal representative verbal and written notice (A) that such person may be eligible for compensation pursuant to sections 54-201 to 54-218, inclusive, and (B) of the application process described in section 54-204, and types and amounts of compensation that may be awarded pursuant to sections 54-201 to 54-218, inclusive.(P.A. 22-47, S. 66.)
