§ 17a-248k

For the school year commencing July 1, 2022, and each school year thereafter, in any school district that serves a town that has not convened or established a local or regional school readiness council pursuant to section 10-16r, the local or regional board of education for such school district shall designate a school readiness liaison. Such liaison shall (1) be an existing employee of such school district, and (2) serve as an informational resource for parents of children transitioning from the birth-to-three program, established pursuant to section 17a-248, to enrollment in a public elementary school in such school district.(P.A. 21-46, S. 29; P.A. 22-124, S. 2.)History: P.A. 21-46 effective July 1, 2021; P.A. 22-124 made a technical change, effective May 27, 2022.
