(a) The Commissioner of Social Services shall provide toll-free telephone access for a person to report vendor fraud in any program operated by the Department of Social Services.(b) The commissioner shall include a reference to its toll-free vendor fraud telephone line established pursuant to subsection (a) of this section in any advertisement of its programs or services.(c) The commissioner shall establish a public relations campaign, within available appropriations, to announce the creation of the toll-free telephone line established pursuant to subsection (a) of this section.(P.A. 96-169, S. 15.)
