All bills for services provided to Medicaid recipients by state humane institutions, as defined in section 17b-222, may be paid by the Commissioner of Social Services to the state agency that provided the services or oversees the operation of the institution that provided the services.(1949 Rev., S. 2662; 1951, S. 1497d; 1967, P.A. 314, S. 16; P.A. 77-614, S. 70, 610; June Sp.
