The Commissioner of Social Services may amend the federal home and community-based service waivers serving persons with acquired brain injury and persons with intellectual disability to enable such persons eligible for or receiving medical assistance under section 17b-597 to receive the services provided under such federally approved waivers.(P.A. 05-44, S. 3; P.A. 13-139, S. 23.)History: P.A. 05-44 effective July 1, 2005; P.A. 13-139 substituted 'intellectual disability' for 'mental retardation'.
