The Commissioner of Correction may accept and receive, on behalf of the department or any institution or facility thereof, any bequest or gift of personal property and, subject to section 4b-22, any devise or gift of real property made to the department or any institution thereof, and may hold and use such property for the purposes specified in such bequest, devise or gift.(1967, P.A. 152, S. 8.)
