No emergency medical service council or emergency communication system shall terminate service to any municipality which participates in such council or system or which is a member of an agency or regional emergency medical service council which participates in such council or system for nonpayment of a disputed bill during the pendency of any complaint, investigation, hearing or appeal involving such dispute, provided the subscriber shall pay the amount of any current and undisputed bills during such pendency.(P.A. 95-198, S. 2.)
