Cemetery associations having capital stock and organized under the general law as to incorporating burial societies prior to 1855 may, when the principal and interest of the subscriptions for capital stock have been repaid and no dividends have been paid for sixty-five years, amend the articles of association by a majority vote of the stock present and voting at a special meeting of such association called for the purpose.(1949 Rev., S. 4722.)History: Sec. 19-149 transferred to Sec. 19a-298 in 1983.
