Not later than December 1, 2022, the Department of Consumer Protection shall develop documents concerning the safe storage by consumers of (1) prescription drugs, as defined in section 19a-754b, and (2) cannabis, as defined in section 21a-420, and cannabis products, as defined in section 21a-420. Such documents shall contain, but need not be limited to, information concerning best practices for (A) storing prescription drugs and cannabis and cannabis products in a manner that renders such items inaccessible to children, and (B) disposal of unused and expired prescription drugs and cannabis and cannabis products. Not later than December 15, 2022, the department shall publish such documents on its Internet web site.(P.A. 22-81, S. 18.)History: P.A. 22-81 effective July 1, 2022.
