Any person, firm or corporation which, by itself or its agents or employees, violates any provision of this part or any regulation made under this part or fails to comply with any of the requirements hereof or knowingly misrepresents the conditions, source, size or quality of any eggs shall be fined not more than fifty dollars for the first offense and not more than two hundred dollars for each subsequent offense.(1949 Rev., S. 3085; 1949, S. 1712d.)
