'Person', as used in this part, includes persons, firms, corporations, societies and associations, and the acts of agents and employees under this part shall be construed to be the acts of their principals and employers as well as of the agents and employees. 'Closed package' means a box or other container, the contents of which cannot be sufficiently seen for the purposes of inspection without opening the container.
