No permit for a wood-burning facility pursuant to section 22a-430 or 22a-368 shall be granted unless the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection considers alternatives to the use of groundwater and surface waters for cooling tower use, including requiring the facility to utilize dry cooling or processed water from sewage treatment plants.(P.A. 90-264, S. 6, 8; P.A. 11-80, S. 1.)History: Pursuant to P.A. 11-80, 'Commissioner of Environmental Protection' was changed editorially by the Revisors to 'Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection', effective July 1, 2011.
