Notwithstanding any provision of chapter 445, no person or government agency shall permanently place, deposit, dispose of or store more than one thousand cubic yards of soil consisting of asbestos-containing material (1) from another site to a site that abuts or adjoins residential property, and (2) at a height of more than four feet above the existing grade of the land without the approval of a two-thirds majority of the legislative body of the municipality in which such property is located. For the purposes of this section, 'asbestos-containing material' has the same meaning as provided in section 19a-332.(P.A. 08-94, S. 2; P.A. 14-122, S. 139.)History: P.A. 14-122 made technical changes.
