No person shall use any dredge with a chain bag having rings of less than three-quarters of an inch in diameter, or any net bag with smaller mesh than two inches from knot to knot, on any natural oyster bed. Any person who violates any provision of this section shall be fined not more than two hundred fifty dollars.(1949 Rev., S. 5049; P.A. 12-80, S. 32.)History: P.A. 12-80 replaced penalty of a fine of not more than $50 or imprisonment of not more than 30 days or both with a fine of not more than $250.
