The Department of Veterans Affairs may, subject to any limitations otherwise imposed by law, receive and accept on behalf of the state any funds that may be offered or that may become available from federal grants or appropriations, private gifts, donations or bequests, or any other source and may expend such funds for the purpose of financing, in whole or in part and on behalf of the state, the construction of the Women in Military Service for America Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.(P.A. 97-206, S. 2; P.A. 22-34, S. 18.)History: P.A. 22-34 made a technical change.
