No person who is or has been an employee of a licensed private detective shall divulge any information to anyone other than such person's employer, or as the employer may direct, except as may be required by law and including a hearing before the commissioner, in respect to any of the work to which such person shall have been assigned by such employer or any other information relating to the business of the employer gained during such employment or association.(1969, P.A. 756, S. 17; P.A. 04-192, S. 15.)History: P.A. 04-192 eliminated reference to investigator and made technical changes.
