(a) No person may use or cause to be used the 'lift-slab' method in any construction project until the regulations adopted pursuant to subsection (b) of this section are effective.(b) The State Building Inspector and the Codes and Standards Committee shall adopt regulations in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54 specifying stringent safety requirements relative to the use of the 'lift-slab' method of construction.(P.A. 88-54, S. 1–3.)
