The Treasurer shall receive all moneys paid on account of said funds and give a receipt to each debtor making payment of principal or interest and keep separate accounts of the principal and interest so received. He shall pay over the same according to law, and shall deliver to the Comptroller, on the first day of March in each year, a statement of the net amount of the income so received.(1949 Rev., S. 144.)
