Except for wages collected by the Labor Commissioner pursuant to subsection (b) of section 31-68, any sum payable for wages, salary or other compensation for personal services that has remained unclaimed by the owner for more than one year after it becomes due, payable or distributable, is presumed abandoned.(June 30 Sp.
