§ 31-3j

As used in this section and sections 31-3k to 31-3o, inclusive, and 31-3r:(1) 'Board' means a regional workforce development board established under section 31-3k;(2) 'Commissioner' means the Labor Commissioner;(3) 'Municipality' means a town, city, borough, consolidated town and city or consolidated town and borough;(4) 'Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act' means the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014, P.L. 113-128, as amended from time to time; and(5) 'Workforce development region' or 'region' means an area designated as a service delivery area in accordance with the provisions of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.(P.A. 92-145, S. 1, 10; P.A. 21-40, S. 27, 28; June Sp.
