The Labor Department, for the purpose of funding the program pursuant to section 31-3w, may, in addition to expending available appropriations, apply for federal waivers and receive and expend any such funds available from the federal government and any private sources for the funding of job training initiatives, including assistance to workers who are presently working and workers who are studying the feasibility of employee stock ownership plans.(P.A. 94-116, S. 14, 28.)History: P.A. 94-116 effective July 1, 1994.
