The Governor's Workforce Council established under section 31-3h is hereby recognized as the state-wide workforce development board for purposes of complying with the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014, P.L. 113-128, as amended from time to time.(P.A. 99-195, S. 8, 15; P.A. 16-169, S. 24; June Sp. Sess. P.A. 21-2, S. 226.)History: P.A. 99-195 effective June 23, 1999; pursuant to P.A. 16-169, 'Workforce Investment Act of 1998, P.L. 105-220' was changed editorially by the Revisors to 'Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014, P.L. 113-128'; June Sp. Sess. P.A. 21-2 replaced 'Connecticut Employment and Training Commission' with 'Governor's Workforce Council' and made a technical change, effective July 1, 2021.
