The Labor Department and the Department of Education are authorized to participate in the Manpower Development and Training Act of 1962, as amended, by providing from funds appropriated or transferred to them for such purpose, in accordance with and to the extent required by said federal act, amounts necessary to match the amounts expended by the United States Treasury.(1963, P.A. 608, S. 1.)History: (Revisor's note: In 1997 a reference to 'Education Department' was changed editorially by the Revisors to 'Department of Education' for consistency with customary statutory usage).
