The Labor Commissioner may act as agent for or in cooperation with the federal government in the enforcement of this chapter, and as requested by the federal government to aid and assist in the effecting of payment of the prescribed minimum or overtime wage, under either the law of this state or under federal law.(1971, P.A. 45, S. 2.)
