There is hereby established within the Department of Economic and Community Development an export extension service program for the purpose of awarding, within available resources, a grant to a public, private or nonprofit entity for the purpose of certifying, training and overseeing broker agents who shall have expertise in export transactions and shall provide outreach and technical services to businesses that either have not engaged in exporting or have only recently begun exporting.(P.A. 94-237, S. 3, 14; P.A. 95-250, S. 1; P.A. 96-211, S. 1, 5, 6.)History: P.A. 94-237 effective July 1, 1994; P.A. 95-250 and P.A. 96-211 replaced Commissioner and Department of Economic Development with Commissioner and Department of Economic and Community Development.
