Notwithstanding any provision of sections 33-600 to 33-998, inclusive, any foreign corporation transacting business in this state without a certificate of authority that voluntarily comes forward during the period commencing July 1, 2001, and ending July 1, 2002, to obtain a certificate of authority shall not be liable for the monthly penalty that would otherwise be imposed pursuant to subsection (d) of section 33-921. The amnesty provided by this section shall not apply to any other fees, taxes or penalties owed by a foreign corporation or any interest thereon.(P.A. 01-81, S. 2, 3.)History: P.A. 01-81 effective July 1, 2001.
