(a) Any person may apply to the Secretary of the State to furnish a certificate of existence for a domestic corporation or a certificate of authorization for a foreign corporation.(b) The issuance of a certificate of existence or a certificate of authorization shall be conclusive evidence that such corporation's most recent annual report required by section 33-1243 has been delivered to the Secretary of the State and that a certificate of dissolution or a certificate of withdrawal has not been filed with respect to such corporation.(P.A. 96-256, S. 12, 209.)History: P.A. 96-256 effective January 1, 1997.
