If the Secretary of the State finds that an application for registration conforms to law and all requisite fees have been paid, he shall: (1) Endorse on the application the word 'Filed', and the month, day and year of the filing thereof; and (2) file in his office a signed copy of the application.(P.A. 79-440, S. 49; P.A. 89-116, S. 8; P.A. 93-363, S. 23.)History: P.A. 89-116 changed 'duplicate original' to 'signed copy' and 'signed or conformed copy'; P.A. 93-363 deleted Subdiv.
