If any statement in the application for registration of a foreign limited partnership was false when made or any arrangements or other facts described have changed, making the application inaccurate in any respect, the foreign limited partnership shall promptly file in the office of the Secretary of the State a certificate, signed by a general partner, correcting such statement.(P.A. 79-440, S. 51; P.A. 89-116, S. 9; P.A. 93-363, S. 24; P.A. 24-111, S. 8.)History: P.A. 89-116 added 'two signed copies or one signed copy and one conformed copy or'; P.A. 93-363 changed 'two signed copies or one signed copy and one conformed' to 'a signed' copy; P.A. 24-111 deleted requirements that foreign limited partnership file signed copy of certificate sworn to by general partner, effective January 1, 2025.
