A corporation, association, firm, partnership, proprietorship, or any other legal or commercial entity is liable under this chapter for the acts of its officers, directors, representatives or agents, acting within the scope of their actual or apparent authority, whether they are acting on their own behalf or for their own benefit, or acting for the corporation, association, firm, partnership or proprietorship or in their representative capacity.
