The commissioner may adopt such regulations, in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54, as the commissioner deems necessary to administer any provision of the general statutes within the jurisdiction of the commissioner for which mandatory or discretionary authority to adopt regulations is not otherwise provided. For any regulation adopted under the authority of this section, the commissioner may assign a section number to the regulation that corresponds to the specific section of the general statutes upon which the regulation is based.(P.A. 94-122, S. 4, 340.)History: P.A. 94-122 effective January 1, 1995.
