The commissioner in his sole discretion may institute proceedings pursuant to sections 38a-911 to 38a-913, inclusive, at the request of the commissioner or other appropriate insurance official of the domiciliary state of any foreign or alien insurer having property located in this state.(P.A. 79-382, S. 54.)History: Sec. 38-474 transferred to Sec. 38a-956 in 1991.
