Any person who, with intent to defraud, issues or aids in issuing a nonnegotiable bill without the word 'nonnegotiable' or the words 'not negotiable' appearing plainly upon the face thereof shall, for each offense, be guilty of a class D felony.(1949 Rev., S. 6616; P.A. 13-258, S. 107.)History: P.A. 13-258 changed penalty from fine of not more than $5,000 or imprisonment of not more than 5 years to a class D felony.
