The provisions of this chapter shall apply only to agreements, understandings or contractual arrangements entered into on or after July 1, 1978 and any such agreement, understanding or contractual arrangement in violation of this chapter entered into prior to said date shall be deemed not to be against the public policy of this state.(P.A. 77-596, S. 13, 15.)
