(a) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (b) of this section, an electronic record is effective when received, even if no other person is aware of its receipt.(b) If an offer in an electronic message evokes an electronic message in response, a lease contract, if any, is formed as determined in section 42a-2A-206.(c) Receipt of an electronic acknowledgment establishes that the message was received but does not establish by itself that the content sent corresponds to the content received.(P.A. 02-131, S. 18.)
