In applying and construing the provisions of sections 45a-644, 45a-648, 45a-649 and 45a-667 to 45a-667v, inclusive, consideration shall be given to the need to promote uniformity of the law with respect to its subject matter among states that enact such uniform provisions, consistent with the need to protect individual civil rights and in accordance with due process.(P.A. 12-22, S. 22.)
