Each state, local or private agency responsible for the protection of persons with disabilities shall cooperate with any investigation conducted by the Department of Developmental Services and shall release records of any named person with intellectual disability or who receives services from the Department of Social Services' Division of Autism Spectrum Disorder Services for review and inspection by the Department of Developmental Services.
